Organo-mineral microfertilizer for flax "AmiStim" was developed by scientists of the Belarusian State University

17 November 2022

It is dedicated to the improvement of plants nutrition by microelements, amino-acids and increasing its sustainability to ilnessess, low temperatures and draught.
AmiStim is produced in the form of high-concentrated water solution. The application technology consists in diluting 0.1 liter of microfertilizer with water up to 200 liters. Then it should be sprayed around 1 ha. of flax crop during the vegetation period.
AmiStim's uniqeness is in its compound and functions. This fertilizer gives plants microelements of boron, zinc and copper and promotes the intake of amino acids from the outside during frost or droughts. Thanks to micro - elements of copper and zinc in combination with amino acids, minerals are better absorbed by plants.
Microfertilizer "AmiStim" contains a water-soluble polymer, which is a film-forming and prolonging agent. Due to its presence, the probability of shedding and washing off of active substances is reduced, the pesticide load on plants is reduced and environmental safety is ensured.
Field tests of microfertilizers, conducted by the Institute of Flax of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, showed an increase in seed yield and an improvement in the quality of flax fiber.
The tool has passed state registration, is included in the State Register of Plant Protection Products (Pesticides) and Fertilizers Allowed for Use on the Territory of Belarus, and is ready for widespread use by agricultural enterprises.
On the instructions of the Institute of Flax of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, a team of the Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University worked on the creation of the drug under the guidance of Elena Fomina, a leading researcher at the Laboratory of Catalysis of Polymerization Processes.
