Towards sports and health

September 6, 2026 For the eleventh time, Minsk hosted the country's most massive and vibrant running event, the Minsk Half Marathon, which brought together healthy lifestyle enthusiasts from 40 countries. The Belarusian State Pedagogical University has traditionally become one of the most cohesive, vibrant and massive teams of the race.

Representatives of the rector's office, deans of faculties, directors of institutes, teachers, staff and students went to the start to demonstrate their loyalty to sports traditions and team spirit. They successfully covered the distance, the route of which ran through the central streets of the capital — past the iconic sights of the capital. The finish line for all runners was traditionally located in the bowl of the athletics arena of the Dynamo Stadium, where each finisher received an exclusive commemorative medal.

For BSPU, participation in the Minsk Half Marathon was not just a sports competition, but a real celebration of unity and continuity of generations, where experienced mentors and future teachers, under the mottos "Future teachers – for a healthy lifestyle!" and "Through sport to health!", were energized, cheerful and in a great mood for the whole new academic year.
