MSLU hosted a meeting with Franklin Ramírez Araque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus

Earlier this week, on November 1, the Rector of the University Natalya Lapteva met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus, Franklin Ramírez Araque.

Participants discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of education and culture: teaching Russian as a foreign language, organizing English language courses based on Spanish, studying at the MSLU Master's degree in Spanish, holding Spanish language Olympiads among schoolchildren and students, school and university students' participation in the cultural events organized by the Simón Bolívar Latin American Cultural Center (Centro Cultural Latinoamericano Simón Bolívar) in Minsk. The parties also discussed the issues of establishing a Spanish language center at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus.

The parties also discussed establishing cooperation with Venezuelan institutions of higher education.
