International Day of University Sport

International Day of University Sport proclaimed by UNESCO and conducted jointly with FISU is celebrated annually on 20 September.
From 19 to 21 September the Ministry of Education jointly with Belarusian Association of Student’s Sport will host the 1st Youth festival dedicated to International Day of University Sport. The event will allow its participants to compete in 3x3 basketball, chess and mass sports event in eSports discipline CG:GO.
The selection of teams was made based on the results of the Republican Universiade 2020-2021 and a qualifying mass sports event in the cybersport discipline CG:GO.
Moreover, all institutions of higher learning in our country annually celebrate International Day of University Sport and host various sport and mass sport events in the frames of the Day.
