Indian student wins Grace International contest in Vitebsk
The crown of the Grace International open contest of national cultures, talent, and beauty went to student of Vitebsk State Medical University Suyambu Kesewan Hema from India, BelTA correspondent reports.
Students of universities of Vitebsk and Minsk from nine countries performed a real extravaganza on the stage of the concert hall "Vitebsk" in the finals of the competition "Grace International". The defile in traditional costumes blew up the hall in a spectrum of national colors. The fashion show in linen clothes managed to emphasize the versatility of "northern silk".
The girls delighted the audience not only with their beauty but also with their bright talents. The songs, dances, and especially the participant from Sri Lanka, who could be given a special prize only for her stunning costumes, impressed everyone. A fantastic choreographic composition by a student of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University, originally from South Africa, hardly left anyone indifferent.
The contestants recited poems, told legends and parables in national languages. How many beautiful words were said about their countries!
The winner in the Miss Grace International nomination became Diyangu Badathuruge Parista Nayani Dulasmith, a VSMU student from Sri Lanka! She charmed everyone with her open smile. I Vice-Miss became a contestant from China - Huan Putzi. The nominations of the II Vice-Miss and III Vice-Miss were awarded to girls from Belarus - Polina Evstafieva and Natalya Drachikova.
