BSTU foreign students visited Stalag-352 and Museum of Urban Passenger Transport
Foreign master's students of BSTU went on an excursion to the core of the former Stalag-352 camp, as well as to the museum of the exploits of Soviet prisoners of war - prisoners of Stalag-352 in Minsk, where they got acquainted with the military history of Belarus.
The Stalag-352 prisoner of war camp is considered one of the largest in occupied Belarus. Next to the current memorial, a temple complex was erected in 2020: the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and there is a museum of the exploits of Soviet prisoners of war, where a unique exhibition is collected.
Also on November 7, foreign students and undergraduates of BSTU went on an excursion to the Museum of Urban Passenger Transport.
The museum includes a main exhibition hall with a mini-cinema, a multimedia information kiosk and a video wall, which presents the history and development of public transport from horse-drawn to electric buses, two exhibition halls: an exhibition dedicated to the state enterprise "Minsktrans" and an exhibition of retro motorcycles and bicycles, as well as an open-air exhibition of rare equipment, which includes 30 units of rolling stock - buses, trolleybuses and trams.
