BNTU hosts a delegation of Baghdad University

A delegation of Baghdad University headed by Rector Munir Hamid Tolefih Mohammed al-Kanbar al-Saadi and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Baghdad Majid al-Kaissi visited Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). The Belarusian National Technical University was represented by Yuri Nikolaichik, Vice-Rector for academic activity, Nikolay Vishnyakov, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of International Cooperation, Yuri Alekseev, Director of the Science and Technological Park of BNTU “Polytechnik”, and Maria Vysotskaya, specialist of the Faculty of International Cooperation.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the educational, methodological and research base of BNTU, as well as the potential and the exhibition composition of the Science and Technology Park of BNTU "Polytechnik", where the meeting was held.
The main topic for discussion was the creation of joint educational programmes, such as "2+2" (bachelor's degree) and "1+1" (master's degree).
This type of programmes have been existed in the Belarusian National Technical University for some time and they are very popular among foreign students.
As a result of negotiations, the preparation of a memorandum on cooperation with the University of Baghdad has begun.
