BSAA: International Cooperation

On November 8, a Forum dedicated to the Construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Demonstration Park of Agricultural Science and Technology 2021 was held in the format of a videoconference - the Scientific and Technical Innovation Forum on Secondary Crops within the framework of the “Belt and Road initiative". Its participants were the Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry of Shanxi Province of the People's Republic of China, the Belarusian State Order of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Academy and the Plant Production Institute named after. V.Ya.Yuriev National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
The parties have exchanged their opinions on direct ways of cooperation and have agreed to conduct a research work to create an agricultural “silicon valley” in dry regions. During the discussion, the Chinese side expressed the hope that the majority of scientists will rely on the construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park as a valuable platform for international cooperation, Strengthening advanced research on small grain crops, improving the training and exchange of professional and technical personnel, contributing to the development of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
The format of the Forum allows to its participants perspectives to expand the horizon of cooperation, stimulation of innovations, search for new ideas for academic research using high technologies, etc. In the current difficult conditions, the goal of Chinese, Belarusian and Ukrainian scientists is to work together for the benefit of agriculture and on the solution of the world problem of food security of a mankind.
