The welcoming week for students from Uzbekistan is finished

This is the end of the welcoming week for students of Belarusian-Uzbek joint educational programmes at Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk.
During this time, students managed to get acquainted with the university and its faculties not only through lectures, but also in an entertaining form.
On August 24, the students got acquainted with the rich history of Polotsk and the Polotsk Collegium. Then, on September 1, their journey around the university began. On the Day of Knowledge, our foreign students became part of the festive programme Day of Knowledge at PSU and together with the first-year students received unforgettable emotions from our creative teams.
On September 2, creative lecturers of the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Civil Engineering organized an interactive lesson Mobile Photography for students from Uzbekistan.
On September 5, within the framework of the Week of Sports and Health, the event Sports Monday was held at the university. Together with Belarusian students, the guests took part in competitions in various sports. The joint pursuit of high results requires not only to use all their strength, but also the ability to understand and listen to each other. A charge of positive emotions and pleasant sweet prizes for the winners became the result of teamwork. 
On September 6, students got acquainted with the Faculty of Computer Science and Electronics. The lecturers of the Faculty told the students about the specialties, conducted an excursion and several master classes.On September 7, the guests got to the Faculty of Law and its possibilities: drawing up a composite sketch, fingerprinting and identification of documents and currency for authenticity.
On September 8, the students were waiting for an exciting master class in orienteering. Our guests learned how to use a compass, distinguish objects on the map and on the ground, and also tested themselves in real life.
And on September 9, their journey finished. Together with the faculty of Finance and Economics and the lesson Logistics and Business Communications on the technique of public speaking, students from Uzbekistan learned about the components of a successful performance in front of the public and tried themselves as speakers.

Nargiza, Faculty of Humanities: 'I have only good impressions of the university. I live in the 6th dormitory, there are very good conditions here. Your country is very beautiful. There are trees and forests everywhere, we don't have that. There are a lot of expectations from studying; I really want to study. I also want to learn a lot in the field of psychology'.

Ruslan, Faculty of Humanities: 'I can say that it is much colder here than in our country. And also, what caught my eye is that the girls here are more sociable than the boys. Now the impressions are good, the university is colorful, studying process is combined with entertainment events. As lectures will start, we'll see there'.
