Meeting with representatives of Heihe University

On September 15, 2025 our university was visited by a delegation from Heihe University, a partner university in the establishment of the Confucius Institute at Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University.

At the meeting, which took place on the basis of the Confucius Institute, our partners were represented by Vice-Rector of Heihe University, Jing Tao; Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Qin Ying; Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Meng Fanhong; Director of the Confucius Institute from the Chinese side, Wang Xiaomei. Our university was represented by the first Vice-Rector, Dmitry Lavrinovich; Vice-Rector, Eduard Kutsakov; Head of the Department of International Relations, Sergey Machekin; Director of the Confucius Institute from the Belarusian side, Lilia Zaitseva.

The main purpose of this visit was to review the results of the Confucius Institute's work in 2025. This information was presented by Lilia Zaitseva.

During the meeting the participants also discussed issues of joint scientific research in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedicine, ecology, artificial intelligence and so on, as well as issues of organizing internships for university students and faculty members.

The delegation also visited the classes of students of the faculty of foreign languages specializing in “Contemporary foreign language (English. Chinese)”.

In the University Hall of Fame guests were introduced to the glorious pages of the history of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University.
