President of the Shrinawatra University of Thailand visit MIUP
A distinguished guest from the Kingdom of Thailand, Dr. Zhou Fei, President of Shinawatra University, paid a working visit to the International Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (IIME). The visit was aimed at strengthening international cooperation and provided the institute's students with a unique opportunity to learn about educational trends in Asian countries.
The highlight of the visit was Dr. Zhou Fei's open lecture, "Education Systems in Southeast Asian Countries: Advantages and Prospects ." During his presentation, the speaker thoroughly explored the characteristics, strengths, and development dynamics of higher education in countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Students learned about the unique opportunities offered by Asian universities, how traditional and innovative approaches to education are combined, and the career prospects available to graduates.
"It was very informative to learn about a completely different perspective on education. Dr. Zhou Fei's lecture not only broadened our horizons but also gave us a new perspective on the opportunities for gaining international experience," shared one of the MIUP students.
During the visit, a business meeting was also held between the MIUP leadership and Dr. Zhou Fei. The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including academic exchanges of students and faculty, joint research projects, and dual degree programs.
"We highly appreciate the visit of our esteemed colleague from Thailand. Such meetings are an important step in developing the institute's international activities and open new horizons for our students and faculty. I am confident that this dialogue will continue the fruitful partnership between our educational institutions," noted Academician Alexander Rimovich Tsyganov, Rector of the IIMP. The Rector presented Dr. Zhou Fei with a diploma conferring the title of Honorary Professor of the IIMP.
The visit of the President of Shinawatra University was a clear indication of the growing international prestige of the Institute of Management and Law and its active work to integrate into the global educational space.
