On March 16, 2023, MSLU was visited by a delegation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Republic of Belarus, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Sajjad Haider Khan.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Rector of MSLU Natalya Evgenievna Lapteva. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of education: teaching Urdu students at MSLU on an optional basis, the possibility of internships for MSLU students at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Republic of Belarus. Also at the meeting, issues related to the joint holding of cultural events and the work of cultural and language centers at MSLU and the National University of Modern Languages (Islamabad) were discussed.
MSLU thanked the delegation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Republic of Belarus for the meeting and expressed hope for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
