A bike ride dedicated to World Bicycle Day was held at BSUPC

World Bicycle Day has been celebrated worldwide since April 2018. The resolution establishing the new holiday was adopted at a meeting of the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan. Representatives of 56 countries co-sponsored the document.

World Bicycle Day is celebrated on June 3rd. To mark the occasion, BSUPC held a bike ride, in which students and university staff participated.

The opening ceremony was attended by the University's First Vice-Rector Vladimir Vladimirovich Klinov, First Secretary of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus Myratkhan Achylov, and embassy staff.

The column was led by the head of the Department of Cycling, Speed ​​Skating and Equestrian Sports, Mikhail Illarionovich Dvoryakov, and the Olympic champion in cycling at the 1976 Games in Montreal, Vladimir Vladimirovich Kaminsky.
