Tianjin-Mogilev Forum: Co-operation and Development in Education

On June 25-26 Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University hosted the Tianjin-Mogilev Forum on Cooperation in Education. This event welcomed representatives of higher educational institutions of Belarus and China to discuss important issues and sign agreements for future co-operation.

Rector of our university Denis Duk addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of strengthening international ties and noted that such forums contribute to the development of science and education.

Then the floor was given to Ruslan Strakhar, Deputy Chairman of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, who expressed hope for fruitful co-operation between the educational institutions of the two countries. In her speech, Vice-Mayor of Tianjin city Ms. Zhang Ling noted the aspiration for joint work in the field of educational and cultural exchanges. Li Yingying, President of Tianjin University of Foreign Languages, also emphasized the significance of the Forum and expressed confidence in the successful development of cooperation.

The ceremony was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of understanding between Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University and institutions of higher education in Tianjin (China). This event opens up new prospects for joint projects and exchanges of students and teachers.

As part of the visit, the guests visited the Hall of Fame of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University., where they learned about the rich history of our educational institution, as well as the Centre of Chinese Language and Culture.
