Inauguration of the Center for Uzbek Culture and Education at BNTU

On December 14, 2022 Belarusian National Technical University hosted the grand opening for it's Center of Uzbek Culture and Education.
For the reference: Belarusian National Technical University actively cooperates with Uzbekistani institutions of higher learning. Thus, in order to improve the training of highly qualified engineering and technical personnel for the industries of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and to expand international cooperation in the field of higher education, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan decided in 2019 to establish the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in the city of Tashkent. Based on the decision of the BNTU Council in March 2020, the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications was established in the BNTU.
The ceremony was attended by honored guests: Sadritdin Turabdjanov, an honored professor of BNTU, chancellor of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov and Ulugbek Mannanov, an honored professor of BNTU, Vice-Rector for International Relations of TSTU.
Sadritdin Turabjanov delivered a greeting and words of gratitude. – Dear Sergey Vasilyevich, dear colleagues, dear friends! Today is a big holiday not only at the Belarusian National Technical University, but also at the Tashkent State Technical University - the Center of Uzbek Culture and Education is opening at BNTU. Here, in the center, Belarusian students will be able to get acquainted with our culture, history, and the successes of our higher education. The Center of Uzbek Culture and Education at BNTU will strengthen the friendship of our youth and the friendship of our peoples. Thank you!
The celebration was continued by a concert program, which included creative performances by the Kakhanachka Folk Song Ensemble of the BNTU Department of Cultural Affairs and students from the Republic of Uzbekistan Lobar Abdurakhmonova and Mukhayo Zoilova.
The honor to cut the ribbon - a symbol of the opening of the exhibition exposition of the Center of Uzbek Culture and Education - was given to the rectors of BNTU and TSTU Sergey Vasilievich and Sadritdin Makhamatdinovich.
After the official opening of the center, students from Uzbekistan offered the guests to try national treats, among which, of course, was the delicious Uzbek pilaf.
The opening of the Center for Uzbek Culture and Education at BNTU has not only become an additional step in deepening cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, but will also contribute to the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and BNTU.
