BSMU students have completed training at leading medical universities of China
In the framework of the current Contracts of Students’ Exchange between Belarusian State Medical University and partner universities of the People's Republic of China, a group of BSMU students successfully completed exchange training at the medical universities of Nanjing and Xuzhou.
From the 20th of November to the 15th of December 15, 2025, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine Stanislav Bunas, Maxim Vergeichik, and Vladislav Ochkovsky underwent training at Nanjing Medical University. The program focused on the study of key clinical disciplines, including neurology and neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology and dentistry, topographic anatomy and operative surgery, and clinical pathological physiology. The training was conducted in accordance with the course schedule of the partner university.
Following them, from the 15th of December, 2025 to the 13th of January, 2026, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry Polina Vavulo, Ariana Deldar and Angelina Savenko completed an internship at Xuzhou Medical University. Their curriculum included such disciplines as conservative dentistry, clinical periodontology, maxillofacial surgery and ambulatory surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, and public health and healthcare.
The training courses were organized using the inclusive learning system, which allowed our students to fully immerse themselves in the educational process of Chinese universities, to get acquainted with modern teaching methods, innovative approaches in medicine and dentistry, and expand their professional horizons in an international academic environment.
International cooperation and academic exchanges are an important part of BSMU's development strategy, aimed at training of highly qualified specialists who are competitive on a global level. The University plans to further expand its partnerships with foreign educational and research centers.
