Jointly train program student about her internship at VSTU

27 January 2023

Why foreign students prefer to choose Vitebsk State Technological University? Because there you can get good education and deep knowledge in various spheres. Today our interview hero is Dovletova Zumrad, a 4th year student, studying under the joint educational program with Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. She told us about her experiences in studies and practice on VSTU basis.
- To be honest, i have never been abroad before, so it was very nerve-racking for me to come alone. There are different people, culture, language and climate! Luckily, i can definetely say, i enjoy Vitebsk very much. If you compare the two cities, Vitebsk is not big as Tashkent, but it is very beautiful. There is a good infrastructure in Vitebsk and also a very fresh air.
The University welcomed us warmly and friendly! All the teachers are quite kind and outgoing, they always try to help if we do not understand something.
Currently we are taking our exams. Of course, the process of preparation for the exams is not an easy one, but the subject is quite interesting, so we are doing good. As part of the session, we also have an internship. The stuff organized tours to leading shoe factories of the city for all of us. It is insanely interesting to see on such a scale how the process of creating shoes is established: from patterns, preparatory stages for assembly to applying the final touches to the finished product. I am very grateful to VSTU for the hospitality, fundamental knowledge, new and very valuable experience I have gained here.
