Today, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting between the Minister of Education A.Ivanets and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Belarus Mohammed al-Umrani.

Andrei Ivanets emphasized on old friendly relations which are confirmed by the legal and regulatory framework of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Syrian Arab Republic as well as cooperation in the humanitarian field. Since 2017 more than 1100 Syrian kids have improved their health in the Belarusian Kids' health camp's.
Minister also pointed that Prime-minister of the Republic of Belarus plans to visit Syria and it would be wise to sign a Protocol on cooperation in the field of education between the Ministry of Education of the Repiblic of Belarus and the Ministry of Enlightment of Syria.
The parties emphasized their interest in developing further cooperation in the field of vocational, secondary specialized, higher education and university science.
