On July 14, a regional scientific and educational forum for university rectors from the Vitebsk and Andijan regions was held in Vitebsk.

During the forum, guests from Uzbekistan visited Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk. A tour of the historic Polotsk Collegium showed the guests how the university's rich cultural heritage blends perfectly with modern teaching methods.

Next, the delegation explored the university's research capabilities. They paid special attention to the Competence Centre for Construction and Utility Networks. The modern equipment in the labs impressed and interested the colleagues from Uzbekistan, confirming a shared goal: training skilled professionals for the real economy.

At the main venue of the forum, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, the rectors discussed how to manage education better and planned ways to work together in the future.

The meeting ended with the signing of agreements that will strengthen international ties and create new opportunities for students and faculty. Yury Ramanouski, Rector of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk, signed the following documents:

•        An agreement on cooperation with the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages.

•        A memorandum of intent with   Andijan State University.

•        A roadmap for developing scientific and educational cooperation with Andijan State University.

Working with our partners from Andijan will give a strong boost to our educational programs and build a solid foundation for long-term cooperation between the universities of our two countries.
