Developing Belarusian-Chinese cooperation
On March 30, 2023 a meeting of the directors of the Confucius Institute at MSLU Sheng Xuemei and T.A. Demyanenko, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture S.E. Oleinik met with representatives of the Chinese-Belarusian CJSC "Industrial Park Development Company" - the project manager of the Scientific and Technical Innovation Department Cai Xiujuan, the Chief Operating Officer of the R&D Center Ma Lei and the project assistant of the Scientific and Technical Innovation Department Qu Jingke.
During the meeting, they discussed the development of cooperation between MSLU and the Chinese-Belarusian CJSC "Industrial Park Development Company" within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed on the initiative of the Confucius Institute at MSLU in May 2022 by the rector of the university N.E. Lapteva and General Director of the company Li Zhonghan.
In 2023, the China-Belarus CJSC "Industrial Park Development Company" plans to organize a live broadcast hall "National Pavilion of Belarus" on the Kuaishou platform in the China-Belarus Industrial Park, which will show beautiful landscapes through a new interactive form of live broadcasts for Chinese users, ethnic customs and goods produced in Belarus. For this purpose, the project "National Pavilion of Belarus" was developed to train the presenters-interns of live broadcasts.
During the meeting with representatives of the Chinese-Belarusian CJSC "Company for the Development of the Industrial Park", the possibilities of attracting for participation in the project students of Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, who have a high level of Chinese, good knowledge of the culture of China and Belarus, who can be guides in building a bridge of friendship and cooperation between China and Belarus.
During the internship, students will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the Chinese language, learn about the peculiarities of conducting live broadcasts in China's e-commerce, film videos that reveal Belarusian culture and present Belarusian goods. Upon completion of the internship, its participants will receive certificates and the opportunity to participate in live broadcasts at the Kuaishou site. Highly established host trainees will have the opportunity to be employed as hosts of live broadcasts of the National Pavilion of Belarus.
