Development of educational and scientific-technical cooperation with educational institutions of China

From April 23 to May 2, BSTU Rector Igor Voitov is on a visit to Guangzhou (Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China) in order to develop educational, scientific and technical cooperation with educational institutions in China.
The rector of BSTU held negotiations with the leadership of the Guangdong Union for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries, discussed promising areas for further cooperation in the field of education and science, in particular, establishing contacts and developing cooperation with universities and colleges of the PRC. He also discussed the process of attracting Chinese citizens to study at BSTU, participation in competitions for scientific, technical and innovative projects funded by the Chinese side.
During negotiations with the leadership of the Guangdong Vocational College of Light Industry, a Cooperation Agreement was signed, providing for academic exchanges (lectures, internships, training courses), the implementation of summer schools, and promising areas of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of polymers, functional coatings, technologies paper production and other areas. An Agreement on the establishment of a joint laboratory of applied technologies has also been signed with this college.
A meeting was held with the Director General of the Ningbo International Science and Innovation Center Li Changhua on the development of scientific and technical cooperation in the development of modern polymer composite materials, elastomers and plastics, additive technologies. A bilateral agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed.
During meetings with the head of a number of colleges in Guangdong Province, a number of cooperation agreements were signed in the field of implementing joint educational programs (Guangdong Nanhua Professional College of Industry and Trade, Guangdong Vocational College of Communications).
With the leadership of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the rector of BSTU held negotiations on the development of cooperation with the Union of Vocational Education of Guangdong Province "One Belt, One Road" in terms of the joint development and approval of vocational education programs, attracting graduates of the Union's colleges to study at BSTU - technical education of Guangdong province (including integrated educational programs)
Igor Voitov made a presentation of the educational and scientific potential of BSTU for representatives of the Union of Vocational Education of Guangdong Province, discussed the issues of training Guangdong college graduates in integrated educational programs of undergraduate studies at BSTU, schemes for training specialists in such programs, further training of specialists in master's programs.
