Winners of the International Youth "Startup Heart" Competition to be announced at BSU
The winners of the International youth startup contest «Startup Heart» will be crowned on the 25th of November at BSU. A solemn awarding ceremony will be held on the business-incubator ground of the HI Tech Park (Academician Kuprevich str, 5/1). It starts at 13.00. The event will welcome business-experts, BSU's leaders and HI-Tech Park's administration.
In this year young specialists, belarusian and russian students presented 51 projects. Only 14 have been considered during the final. Their developers are students of BSU, St. Petersburg Mining University, Bobruisk State Motor Transport College, as well as Belarusian IT enterprises. The developers presented startups in the fields of computer games, educational technology, social decision making, tourism, trade and ecology. Among this projects are works aimed to assist with home improvement, save the environment etc. For example, russian aroma-company will present a unit which combines and uses 12 scents for premises. A liquid cartridge should be placed in the unit and with the assistance of an ultrasound sprinkling the mixture spreads around the room, filling it with a pleasure scent.
The competition spanned across three months and had three stages.
During this time, the participants went through an educational program, worked out mistakes in projects with mentors and experts, received advice and recommendations to improve business ideas. The authors of the best startups will receive a monetary reward, 30 hours of online education and free consultations from leading Belarusian IT companies.
The competition was organized by the Faculty of Economics of BSU.

The international youth startup competition "Startup Heart" was first held in 2019 at the initiative of students of economics and teachers of BSU. The event was aimed at creating conditions for the implementation of business projects, assisting young people in finding partners or investors. Over the history of the competition, representatives of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Germany have become its participants.
