Prospects for the development of banking business and financial economy will be discussed at BSU

The International scientific and practical conference «Banking Business and Financial Economics: global trends and development prospects» will be held on 19 May at BSU (31 K. Marx Street, room 63). The event is aimed at identifying and supporting talented young people, popularizing scientific knowledge, as well as strengthening ties between the leading universities of Belarus and Russia and the banking sector of the economy.
More than 40 young scientists, postgraduates, undergraduates and employees of the banking and financial sectors from Belarus and Russia will participate in the forum. These are representatives of BSU, Belarusian State Economic University, Vitebsk State Technological University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Belgorod State University, the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship, etc.
During the conference, experts will discuss issues of financial literacy of the population, trends in the development of the digital ruble in Belarus, the role of cybersecurity in the banking sector, changes in the vector of international cooperation, the current state of the residential real estate market, the impact of the sovereign rating on macroeconomics and the functioning of banks, problems of international settlements under sanctions, ways to improve investment activities of banks, etc.
Following the results of the forum, a collection of scientific materials will be prepared, which will be placed in the Electronic Library of BSU.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Economics of BSU.
