Olympiad for schoolchildren of the Union State is an excellent tradition for studying the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus and Russia

From October 19 to October 24 the final stage of an olympiad for schoolchildrens of the Union country "Russia and Belarus: historical and spiritual similarity" was held on the basis of "Mashuk" youth and patriotic center in Pyatigorsk town. Now the Olympiad is an excellent tradition that gathers together gifted kids from Union countries in order to strengthen friendly relatons between youth of both countries, to develop creativity and interest in science and to study historical and culural heritage of Belarus and Russia.
36 participants have won the olympiad (21 belarusian and 15 russian respectively).
The absolute winner is Ignatenko Mariya, a student of the 11th grade of the "Lyceum of Belarusian state university".
