About 20 scientific and technical developments of BSU will be presented at the International Healthcare Exhibition "KIHE 2023"

The event will be held May 17-19 in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The exposition of the university will include the achievements of scientists and researchers of the university in the field of medicine and chemistry. These are medicines, medical equipment, pharmaceutical substances, mathematical models for medical practice, etc.
Visitors will be able to learn about antitumor drugs "Cisplacel", "Prospidelong" and "Temodeks". The first drug is used to remove tumors in the head and neck. "Prospidelong" and "Temodex" have a hydrogel substance and are used for local chemotherapy of tumors of the stomach and brain, respectively.
Among the developments is also the MAS-1-PK spirometer, designed to assess the state of the human respiratory system. The device measures and calculates the parameters of external respiration and compares it with the standards stored in the memory, and also visualizes the breathing process.
The BSU exposition will include "Edible films and coatings based on polysaccharides and vegetable antimicrobial and antioxidant additives". They are the only type of biodegradable polymer packaging that does not need sorting and special disposal conditions, preserves the taste, aroma, aesthetic appearance and sterility of products. The new type of wrapping is non-toxic, completely decomposes in the human and animal body, and can significantly reduce the use of plastic.
The innovations of the leading Belarusian university will be presented in the collective section of scientific developments of the Ministry of Education of Belarus.
