On March 29, a methodological webinar was held on the basis of the laboratory of Russian as a foreign language of MSLU, dedicated to the implementation of the communicative approach at the initial stage of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The event was attended by Russian language teachers from educational institutions in China, Vietnam, Armenia, Russia and Algeria. During the webinar, the problems of enhancing the mental and speech activity of students at the elementary and basic levels of Russian as a foreign language were discussed. MSLU teachers, I.S. Kaminskaya and O.N. Zhiznevskaya, shared with foreign colleagues their experience in using cognitive techniques that motivate students to communicate in the classroom not only for educational purposes. At the end of the webinar, the participants exchanged methodological “life hacks”, using which Russian language teachers can effectively solve the problem of ensuring the communication of the Russian as a foreign language course for beginners.
