International round table "The role of legal science in achieving sustainable development goals" will be held at the Belarusian State University
The international scientific and practical round table "The role of legal science in achieving sustainable development goals" will be held on October 3 at BSU (Leningradskaya St., 8, room 104). Start at 14.00. The event is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the professor of the Department of Environmental and Agrarian Law of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University Sergey Balashenko. The forum will be held in a face-to-face format.
About 40 practicing lawyers, teachers, PhD candidates, graduate students, applicants, employees of universities and scientific institutions from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will take part in the discussion. These are representatives of Belarusian State University, Polotsk State University. Efrosiniya Polotskaya, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Chamber of Legal Advisers “Kazakhstan Bar Association” (Kazakhstan), etc.
Reports will be presented on the following topics: international nuclear law, updating the land legislation of Belarus, the impact of digitalization on achieving sustainable development goals, ensuring environmental sustainable development goals, etc.
In addition, Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Volgograd Institute of Management (Russia) Alexei Anisimov will tell about the contribution of Sergey Balashenko to the development of the science of environmental law.
Following the results of the work of the scientific forum, it is planned to publish a collection of reports, as well as post them in the Electronic Library of the Belarusian State University.
