International scientific conference "Actual environmental problems" will be held at the Belarusian State University

The two-day International scientific conference of young scientists and PhD students "Actual environmental problems" will open on December 1 at BSU (Dolgobrodskaya st., 23/1, room 21). It starts at 9.35. It is planned to discuss socio-ecological and ethical-pedagogical problems of our time, environmental safety, modern approach and methods of studying biomolecules.
The scientific event will be attended by about 200 experts from seven countries: Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Italy and China. These are representatives of Belarusian State University, Minsk State Linguistic University, Polesky State University, Institute of Agrarian Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Udmurt State University, Tianjin University of Foreign Languages, etc.
Within the framework of the forum, four sections are planned: “Urban environment and the onset of some inflammatory skin diseases in children”, “The role of geoinformation technologies in student educational projects of the V.I. Vernadsky", "The role and importance of cover crops in the agroecosystem", "Green economy as an instrument of environmental protection".
In particular, the issues of students' competence in solving the issues of garbage pollution of cities will be considered; the potential and benefits of biofuel production; the impact of pollutant emissions and ways to reduce this impact on the environment; radioecology and radiation safety; environmental monitoring, etc.
The discussion of the reports will take place in English.
The result of the work of the scientific forum will be the publication of a collection of scientific reports with subsequent placement in the E-Library of the Belarusian State University.
The organizers of the scientific conference are the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University, Ministry of Education and Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, Public Council of the basic organization for environmental education of the CIS countries.
