The International conference «Linguistic Personality and effective communication in the modern multicultural world» will be held at BSU

The two-day International Scientific and Practical Conference «Linguistic personality and effective communication in the modern multicultural world» will open on 20 October at BSU (5 Kurchatova Street, room 412). The beginning is at 10.00. The event will be held in a face-to-face and remote format.

The purpose of the forum is to analyze the results of scientific research of scientists and practitioners on topical issues of intercultural communication, linguistics, literary studies, translation studies and linguodidactics, as well as the exchange of scientific results and research experience.

The conference will be attended by more than 50 scientists, university professors, teachers, as well as graduate students, master students, educators from BSU, MSLU, BSPU named after Maxim Tank, Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafyev, HSE University (Russia), etc.

Within the framework of the forum, six thematic sections will be held: «Topical problems of modern philology and linguodidactics», «Cognitive-discursive aspects of verbal communication: parameters, strategies and tactics of discourse», «Modern paradigm of linguistic research», «Literary studies and text interpretation», «Professional activity of a linguist-translator through the prism of a competence approach», «Linguodidactic technologies of formation of readiness for intercultural communication».

The result of the two-day conference will be the publication of a collection of materials of participants, which will be available in the Electronic Library of BSU.

The organizer of the scientific event is the Faculty of Social and Cultural Communications of BSU.
