Rafael Traskevich, Master student of the Faculty of History of BSU won international competition "Union league of Debates". He competed as a part of "Duumvirat" team together with MITSO student Dmitry Mikhalkin.
40 teams from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the event. The teams had to support either government or opposition. It was required for the participants to prepare and present arguments and offers on various topics on Eurasion integration. For example, should Tajikistan enter EAEU or the creation of a new body of the Eurasian debate movement.
Also, an educational program of trainings and master classes was organized for the participants from leading experts in the field of Eurasian integration and oratory.
The organizer of the contest "Union League of Debates" was the Center for the Study of the Prospects of Integration, together with the NGO "Belaya Rus", the All-Russian League of Debates and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia.
