Concert from the “CLASSICS - ETHNO – XXI” cycle

On 26th of October the second concert from the “CLASSICS - ETHNO – XXI” cycle was held in the Small Hall named after M.I. Glinka of the D.D.Shostakovich St.Petersburg Academic Philarmony as part of the 22nd International Conservatory Week Festival.
Lyubov Glazova (piano); Yuri Shablovsky (percussion instruments); Yekaterina Melnikova, Daria Shishkanova and Aleksandra Borisyuk (cimbalom); Yelizaveta Lappo (cello); Victoria Yanushkevich (flute, zhaleika) are the students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, and laureates of international competitions who performed at the concert.
The festival continues the anniversary celebrations dedicated to the 160th anniversary of St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. The event was attended by the rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music E.V. Kurakina, who has PhD in Art History and is the Associate Professor.
