The BSU team became the «bronze» prize-winner of the Eurasian Debate

The BSU team became the «bronze» prize-winner of the Eurasian Debates. The competition ended on 22 April in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).
The team included students of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformatics: third-year students Ulyana Rondak and Irina Krivenok, a fourth-year student Milvari Aliyeva and undergraduates Yuri Davidovich and Adelaide Timashkova. The expert in the debate was the dean of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformatics Elena Kolmakova.
Five national teams from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the competition. The debate took place in three rounds. The first round was devoted to the cultural-historical, economic-geographical and geopolitical prerequisites for the creation of the EAEU and the possibilities of its development, the role of youth initiatives in this process. In the second round, the prospects and obstacles to the creation of a single educational space in the EAEU were discussed as conditions for the successful innovative development of the economies of the countries participating in the integration association. In the third round, the participants of the debate were invited to brainstorm new initiatives to create a unified educational space in the EAEU, defining conditions for improving the quality of education.
A debate was held within the framework of the international project «Strengthening friendly ties between the youth of the EAEU countries through education».
The organizers of the competition were the Public Foundation «Eurasian Generation» and the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusuph Balasaghyn.
