The Eurasian Student Olympiad in Analytical Economics and Forecasting is being held at BSU
The Eurasian Student Olympiad in Analytical Economics and Forecasting is taking place today, 4 April, at BSU (31 K. Marks Street, room 63). It is organized in an offline format in order to stimulate students' interest in the study of economic sciences and mathematical analysis tools, fundamental economic and mathematical disciplines.
15 student teams from Belarusian, Russian and Kazakh universities took part in the economic battles. These are representatives from BSU, BSEU, Kuban State University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, the State Institute of Economics, Finance, Law and Technology, MIREA - Russian Technological University, Kazakh University of Economy, Finance and International Trade, etc.
The teams will have to solve problems from the economic case, as well as present the results of research conducted within the framework of the correspondence qualifying round. Here students worked on the description of the analysis and calculations to assess the potential of Belarus' trade with the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
In total, 24 national teams from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan were announced.
The organizer of the Olympiad is the Faculty of Economics of BSU.
