Belarussian and Russian experts to discuss kids literature at BSU

Experts will be discussing kids literature during two-day international conference to be held at BSU. The conference is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Kornei Chukovski. The event is due to begin on the six of October. (Karl Marks str, 31, room 210). The event will be conducted in a distance face-to-face format. Among the participants are about 20 teachers; scientists and students from Belarus and Russia. They are representatives of BSU, BSPU named after M. Tank, Polotsk College of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Center for Creative Development and Humanitarian Education (Istra, Russia), etc.
The experts are going to discuss the following subjects: Works of Kornei Chukovski in the frames of moral and spiritual education of preschool children; children's poetry of the modern Belarussian writer Sergei Minskevich; Parodies on Harry Potter in slavic-fantasy literature on the motives of the series of books "Porri Gatter" and "Tanya Grotter"; etc.
In addition, the participants will meet with the writer and director Mila Parhots, who will talk about the relationship between society and people with disabilities using fairy tales as an example.
The organizer of the scientific event is the Faculty of Philology of BSU.
