Diverse and interesting life of foreign students at PSU

18 October 2022

In September, the volunteers of the movement My Belarusian Guide initiated the first meeting for foreign students this academic year. This event was held within the framework of the Russian language speaking club of the GURU «Ты да я, да мы с тобой» (You and me, and us together).
During a friendly tea party, the students were able to find new friends, as well as improve their knowledge of the Russian language in an interactive form! The warm meeting ended with an exchange of contacts with new friends. The students enjoyed talking, taking pictures, rejoicing with each other. This evening will be remembered for a long time by volunteers and foreign students!
Mother's Day is celebrated in Belarus on October 14. On this day, the volunteers of the movement My Belarusian Guide invited the students who came from Uzbekistan to send a message of this Belarusian tradition to Uzbek mothers.
On a handmade postcard with a Belarusian cornflower everyone wrote his congratulations to his mother. We combined business with pleasure; we remembered the adjectives, as in Russian you can say a lot, about your wonderful mother.
The students creatively approached the creation of postcards, although they used the proposed templates. The creative and warm atmosphere of the evening will go in envelopes to distant Uzbekistan.
