Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus paid a visit to MSLU

On July 20, 2022 MSLU’s chancellor Lapteva Natalya Evgenievna met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Mr. Santiago Peres Benitez.
The parties discussed opportunities of cooperation with the University of Havana and the University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas. They have also considered the issues of teaching Russian and Spanish in an online format, the training of teachers of Russian as a foreign language, defined joint topics for scientific research, and discussed the exchange of teachers and students. During the meeting, an agreement was reached with Mr. Benitez to give a lecture on the culture of Latin American countries. Mr. Benitez also got acquainted with MSLU and paid a visit to its Spanish language and culture center.
MSLU has incentive in further development of cooperation with Cuban embassy in the Republic of Belarus and hopes to establish partnership relations with the University of Havana and the University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas.
