BSTU and Forest Sector of Uzbekistan: A New Era of Cooperation

On July 9, 2026, Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) hosted a landmark meeting that opens new horizons for Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation in forestry and woodworking. The high-level talks featured Serhei Kasperovich, Rector of BSTU, and Erkin Mukhitdinov, Director of the Forestry Agency under the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the III Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan, held from July 6–8, 2026, in Minsk. During the forum, BSTU experts actively participated in a thematic session dedicated to woodworking and furniture manufacturing, showcasing the university's advanced educational and research capabilities.

During his campus visit, Erkin Mukhitdinov toured specialized classrooms and research laboratories to study the methodologies and technologies used in training Belarusian forestry experts.
