Belarusian State Technological University to establish cooperation with Emirati Universities

On January 13, 2013 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus mr. Ibrahim Salim Mohammad Al-Musharrah visited BSTU.
BSTU chancellor Igor Voitov introduced educational programs and BSTU scientific and research potential to the honored guest. The Ambassador paid a visit to a constant functioning exhebition of scientific-technical developments, museum of BSTU history, cabinet of hunting science, xylotheque, laboratory of geoinformation systems of the department of forest management.
Mr. Ibrahim Salim Mohammad Al-Musharrah expressed his readiness to provide help in the establishment of partnership connections with the Emirati universities and also expressed interest in the implementation of joint projects in such areas as planting greenery in desert areas, combating desertification, purification of water resources and wastewater, production and use of highly effective organo-mineral fertilizers, projects in the field of green economy and climate change.
