Topical issues of sustainable nature management will be discussed by scientists from Belarus and Russia

The international scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of sustainable nature management: scientific and methodological support and practical solution" will be held on November 9-11 at BSU (Leningradskaya St., 16, room 312). It starts at 10.00. The event is organized in face-to-face and online format.
About 50 scientists, teachers, students, masters and graduate students from Belarus and Russia will be takibg part in the conference. These are representatives of the Belarusian State University, Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, St. Petersburg State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Belgorod State National Research University, etc.
There will be two sections: “Scientific and methodological foundations for the assessment and regulation of nature management. Educational Aspects of Nature Management” and “Landscape and Ecological-Economic Aspects of Substantiation of Sustainable Nature Management and Creation of Specially Protected Natural Territories”.
Experts will discuss environmental, economic and territorial and organizational aspects of sustainable nature management, the use of geographic information systems, the scientific rationale and practice of creating of specially protected natural areas, as well as educational aspects of studying, using, changing and protecting the natural environment, etc.
The result of the work will be the publication of a collection of scientific reports of the conference participants, which will be placed in the Digital Library of the Belarusian State University.
The event is organized by the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformatics of BSU.
